How it works

Trim a video in three steps

Cut, mute, and loop a video online, with frame-accurate trimming that runs entirely in your browser.

01

Add a video

Drop in an MP4, MOV, or WebM, including iPhone screen recordings. It stays on your device.

02

Trim, mute, or loop

Drag the handles or type exact times. Remove the sound or repeat the clip up to 10 times.

03

Export an MP4

Download a high-quality MP4 that plays on iPhone, Android, Mac, Windows, and social apps.

Video trimming guide

Trim a video without uploading it anywhere.

Most online video trimmers upload your file to a server, process it there, and send it back. This one doesn't. Your browser decodes and re-encodes the video itself, so private recordings stay private and there's no upload wait.

Frame-accurate cuts

Many quick trimmers can only cut at keyframes, so the clip starts a second or two away from where you asked. This trimmer re-encodes the trimmed clip, so it starts and ends on the exact frame you chose.

Trimming screen recordings

Screen recordings start with you closing Control Center and end with you reaching for the stop button. Trim both, mute the sound if it adds nothing, and the clip is ready to share. See how to screen record on iPhone.

Looping a clip

Loops turn a short moment into a longer video for a feed, a background, or a demo that repeats. Pick 2×, 3×, 5×, or 10× and the selection plays back to back with no gap.

Muting a video

Turn on Mute audio to remove every sound from the export. If you only mute and don't trim, the video is copied without re-encoding, so it's fast and keeps its original quality.

FAQ

Video trimmer questions

Is my video uploaded to a server?

No. Trimming, muting, and looping all happen in your browser using your device's own video encoder. The file never leaves your device.

Does it work on iPhone?

Yes, in Safari on iOS 16.4 or later. Long or very large videos can run out of memory on phones, so the limit there is 1 GB per video.

Will trimming lower the quality?

Trimmed clips are re-encoded at high quality so the cut is frame-accurate. If you only mute the video, it's copied without re-encoding and keeps its original quality.

Which formats can I use?

MP4, MOV, and WebM files with H.264, HEVC, VP9, or AV1 video, depending on what your browser can decode. The export is always an MP4.

Is there a watermark or a length limit?

No watermark and no account. Exports can be up to 15 minutes long, including loops.
